FBKNIFE G727S 440c folding knife, G lock, G10scales

This knife definitely punches way above its price point. The G lock action is so smooth and fidgety. Very fun knife to play with. There is no doubt that the bearings are fine tuned. The blade is full flat grind in 440c and comes in 3.5mm at the thickest portion. Blade is 3.4 inches long and the knife weigh in at 4.6 OZ. The thickness behind the edge is? This thing slices so well its scary. Now 440c  does not have the edge retention properties of the D2 but it makes it up in ease of sharpening. Also it gets scary scary sharp and strops back really well. In the beginning I was very dismissive of 440c but it is no slouch. Sometimes you just need or want that bit of extra rust resistance. You can get this one dirty and put it away and it will clean up fine. The G lock is way improved on these newer models and if you have not experienced it this knife is a affordable way of doing it. Really at home with food prep and definitely a good choice if your knife gets wet constantly. Digi Camo version is really nice and my favourite. Available in Camo and Black
